Yeah Yeah Yeahs (not to be confused with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah) coolly slice the air with this tune. They grab your attention from the get-go with a low siren-like guitar riff, and then a distinct repeating drum riff. And then Karen O‘s sultry voice smoothly slips in.
In 2007 and 2010 they had Grammy nominations for “Best Alternative Album“, so they’re much too popular for my blog, but I like them, so sue me. They’ve released 3 albums so far (I wasn’t too pleased with the last one), and Karen O is dreamy, so what more can you ask for?
